God is good
He gave me my parents
To put me through trials
To test my tenacity
To show me a glimpse of love
His parental love

as Faith called us to share testimonies during cellgroup, i was caught unprepared, really. but as she called my name, the thing that flashed across my mind was how i am so blessed because of my parents God placed in my life. they are indeed SERVANT LEADERS in my life (seriously i dont like the term but it cant be more appropriate) they work hard to take care of me, to raise me up, and not to forget that touch of 'leadership' dominating over me. She just loves me and He just dotes on me. at the point of testimony sharing, how i got my dSLR cam right after fulfilling my bf was outshone by what my dad and mum did and had done for me. and i just shared it, with much joy.


Recently it has been very prevalent how HE revealed the roles and importance of my parents to me even after telling me off, getting angry at me, reducing my allowance, and many more. I have a wonderful family, because of my beautiful parents. =)


A friend told me today that friends around him always tell him that he seems to have a very happy family where conflicts are alien, but the truth is exactly opposite. he is one who always appears joyful and chatty, but deep inside him, i feel his hurt, his anxiety, his worries. family is indeed the basic unit of society and even the construction of a soul. we were placed together, planned to be connected together in such a way, our lives turn out differently. thankfully i'm in one whereby much is contributed by the core of it.


when i set up mine, it will be built on the Solid Rock, the foundation of Truth, built on the confidence of conveying of love, built on the everlasting love.. =)
