Those little hands

Once upon a time, there was a little boy who was out with his dad. They were strolling along a beach, watching the beautiful horizon. As they walk, the boy saw little little pieces of seashells lying on the sand. He got really excited as they were really beautiful, although in pieces. Happily and excitedly, he picked up the shells, one by one, and held them with his small hands.

As they walked on, all of a sudden they saw something that looked like a star near the waters, shimmering as the sun shone on it. The boy ran up closer and shouted to his dad," DADDY DADDY! It's a STARFISH!!" Now this boy really got EGG-CITED!! The starfish was washed up to the shore by the waves. He wanted to bring the starfish home and his dad approved of it.

The boy bent down before the starfish, looking at the creature, then stood up and ran back to his dad. "Dad, i cant take it." The dad was puzzled but just encouraged his son to go on and take the starfish. The boy then obediently ran back to the starfish, bent down once more, this time closer, but still ended up running back to his dad, looking really dejected and said, "Dad, i cant take it." The dad, still puzzled by why his inquisitive son refused to take the starfish, pushed him on and asked him to pick up the starfish and they're heading home. The boy, once again, went back to the starfish, looked at his hands, then looked at the starfish, still stood up and ran back to his dad. The little boy shook his hand furiously. The dad asked, "Why arent you picking it up? What's wrong?"

With tears in his eyes, he replied, "But my hands are full with the shells i picked up."

I might not be the best storyteller, but this is the best story i've heard and i want to share.
